Synopsis :
In his desperate hunt for a way out of his gloomy existence on the rough streets of Casablanca, a young burglar named Amine discovers a sealed jewelry box that represents his ticket to a brighter future in Europe.
However, when other gangs find out what’s in his possession, he must brave their treacherous terrain and face his own demons to keep his dream alive.

Director Biography :
Born in Casablanca, Walid Messnaoui graduated from the ESAV film school in Marrakech with a degree in directing and editing. In 2015, while pursuing a master's degree in editing, he directed the documentary "SIX AND ZERO", which was critically acclaimed and selected by numerous international festivals, including Malmoe Arab Films in 2016. Driven by his passion for filmmaking, he sought opportunities to expand his knowledge and participated in various workshops and residencies around the world. Among them were "La Fémis: Summer University" in France, "Fajr Talent Campus" in Iran, and "INTERACTION Camp" in Serbia. In 2022, he made his directorial debut with the poignant short film "NO KEY", which received acclaim and awards from numerous international festivals. These include the International Short Film Festival of Clermont-Ferrand 2023, Fantaspoa International Fantastic Film Festival of Porto Alegre 2023, Best Short Film at the Maskoon Film Festival 2022, and Best Director at the International Independent Film Festival of Casablanca 2023.
